All large organizations require some degree of IT support. Needless to say, everyone wants to hire the best, but finding the best isn’t always so easy. However, it will be easy for you because we have already compiled this handy list of the top 15 IT companies in Florida.
1. PCH Technologies
PCH has distinguished itself very well in a crowded field, delivering service and results that never fail to please. Reviews for this company indicate that the vast majority of their customers are quite happy with their services. Over the past 25 years, this company has maintained an excellent reputation based on quality results, efficiency, and professionalism.
Reliable security is one of the main things that has helped PCH to become number one in this state. If you look at the large body of writing on their website, you can see that they put a lot of emphasis on security. The cybersecurity landscape is always changing, and you can see that PCH understands that fact very well. Apart from that, PCH also offers a wide range of services, such as:
- MSP (Managed Service Provider) services
- 24/7 Expert support
- Managed security services
- Cloud computing/Cloud management
- On-site consultation services
2. DPC Technology
DPC also brings a lot to the table, offering a technology center where their clients can educate themselves about many different IT topics. These educational services are free, but only if you opt for their “complete care” plan. They have convenient hours of operation, and they are quick to provide both hardware and software. When we look at reviews for this company, we can see that they don’t put as strong an emphasis on security, and some of their best customer services are pay-walled. Still, they do provide good service overall.
3. ITS Group
This is another IT company operating in Florida, and they have quite a few locations. As such, you probably won’t have a hard time finding one. They’ve been doing business in the area for about 21 years, so they definitely have the experience to do things correctly. However, their website advertises a 99.6% customer satisfaction rate. Based on the reviews we have found online, we find that number to be inaccurate. While most of the company’s reviews are positive, they lost some points for misrepresentation.
4. LAN Infotech
This company has a pretty good reputation, as most people praise the expertise and professionalism of their technicians. Their rates are said to be pretty reasonable, and reviews are also pretty good. The only downside with this company is that they aren’t an “all-purpose” solution. They specifically focus their efforts on the healthcare industry, the legal industry, nonprofit organizations, and small-to-mid-sized businesses. This is a good option for those kinds of clients, but not the best choice for others.
5. QuestingHound
This business is another tried-and-true option for the area, and they do have a pretty good reputation. They have consistently been rated highly, so they must be doing something right. They particularly shine in the area of customer service, but their website isn’t very informative. In fact, it’s rather poorly written, giving a bad first impression that hurt their ranking on our list.
6. CPT Of South Florida
The name of this company stands for “connecting people and technology,” and the name is appropriate. This company really is a versatile one, providing a wide range of services from VoIP phone lines to IT support and all sorts of other things. However, this “broad brush” approach might not be as broad as it seems. We can see that telephone services are the backbone of their business, which means they are unlikely to put maximum effort into other forms of IT management.
7. Data-Tech
This company’s advertising centers on its willingness to provide custom-tailored services to all its clients. This is indeed a strength, as custom plans do tend to be more efficient. They’ve also got a handy live chat feature on their page so that prospective customers can easily learn more. All of this is great, but we aren’t sure why they are putting so much emphasis on something that should be done anyway.
8. Bleuwire
In contrast with number 6, this one has a very slick and well-designed website. They offer virtual CIO services, all sorts of IT support, and more. We also see a heavy emphasis on data protection which is always good. As far as the sales pitch goes, all the key elements are there. However, reviews from this company indicate that they aren’t vetting their employees as well as they should.
9. Capstone IT Services
This one really is a “customer-friendly” company. When you check out their business page, their list of customer guarantees is front and center. Most reviews support their strong emphasis on customer service and convenience. For instance, they don’t do long-term service plans, allowing the customer to pay on a month-to-month basis. The idea is that customers are free to cancel their services more easily, should they not be satisfied with the results. While this sounds good, we have to point something out: If people are dropping their services so frequently, there is probably a reason for that fact.
10. Preemo
Preemo offers a lot of different services, and they don’t seem fixated on just a few industries like some others. The free instant quotes offered on their website are a nice touch, allowing customers to get a price with minimal time and effort. In terms of reviews, this one generally gets high marks. However, most of those reviews read a little too much like the company’s advertisements, so we suspect there is some chicanery going on here.
11. The CompuLab
This is a well-regarded company that communicates clearly with its customers. They’re all about keeping it simple and straightforward, which appeals to many people. In particular, that approach is good for companies without a lot of IT-savvy people. Based on what we hear and read, they are also good at resolving issues in a quick manner. The only problem we see is that they don’t offer that many specific services, suggesting a “shotgun” approach.
12. ConnectOn
This one makes a poor first impression due to the content of its website. It’s badly written and the navigation is a little confusing. However, we can see that this company offers a great variety of services and seems to have satisfied most of its customers. Still, their communication skills seem to be lacking somewhat.
13. I.T. Solutions
Although the name isn’t that creative, this company seems to be doing well. They pride themselves on being one of the fastest-growing IT companies in South Florida. They do seem to have a lot of positives overall, and the reviews paint a decently good picture. However, we can see that they have a heavy reliance on the cloud, and cloud computing doesn’t offer the best security.
14. Simplitfy
Right away, we can see one problem: The name of this company looks like a misspelling. It’s meant to be a clever double meaning, but it doesn’t really work well. Apart from presentation issues, though, we can see that this company has been around for a long time, and they are considered one of the best managed service providers in Florida. They don’t seem to have a lot of bad reviews, but there is one semi-consistent complaint, and that is a lack of proper responsiveness.
15. InRSite
Once again, we see a company with an awkward name, but that’s a small complaint. These guys do offer a lot of freebies for new customers, which is definitely a plus. They also have a fairly good range of services and no known cybersecurity breaches on their record. However, when we look at customer reviews we can see why their marketing has a ring of desperation.
Conclusion
As you can see, PCH Technologies is the number one IT company in the state. While all of these other companies have certain downsides and weaknesses, PCH is the only choice that checks all the positive boxes with ease.
